How do I store the cake until my event?
Transport the cake on the floor of the passenger seat, in the footwell. Keep your cake refrigerated and bring to room temperature a half an hour or so before serving. Ensure it is kept away from flames, direct sunlight and ideally in a cool room.
I cannot be held responsible for any damage once a cake leaves my premises.
Cakes should NOT to held on your knee or placed on a seat.
We do require a £10 non refundable deposit for all our cake order, unless a deposit it paid your date is NOT secure, if someone else pays a deposit before you, you risk losing your date.
This is due to timewasters in the past and we have had to introduce this policy to ensure that other orders are not lost due to time wasters.
Payment is made via bank transfer or paypal or cash upon collection. The deposit it payable upon ordering, the remaining balance is due upon collection of your cake, you can pay cash upon collection if you wish.
We don't cover our cakes in fondant and cannot offer fondant cakes, we specialise solely in buttercream cakes and only use small amount of fondant for decoration.
We can offer vegan, and dairy free cakes where no allergies are present and this is simply a dietary choice.
We cannot offer cakes for allergy sufferers unfortunately.
We work in a kitchen where flour, diary, peanuts egg etc are used in almost every bake so where we take every effort to ensure no cross contamination we cannot provide a 100% guarantee for this reason.
We assume no responsibility for any damage to your cake once it has left Pudge's Cakery, all of our cakes are photographed prior to collection.
